3551 Morgan,

Just in case nobody in this group knows a book, there's a Goodreads group designed to help members find these types of "lost" books and you can also post there:

3551 I'm always wary of these but I checked it at snopes and it's real:

3551 I really enjoyed Graceling, and I wasn't even in the mood for a fairy tale, and this is really a full length novel fairy tale.

I thought the characters were all interesting.

I loved how Katsa's grace turned out to be something different. I loved how the end wasn't prolonged and how it took me by surprise.

I'm not sure whether or not I'll read the two companion books but I'm really glad that I read this book.

3551 Well, It partly depends what's ready from the library but at the very least I'm reading:

Eating Animals
and
Everything I Need to Know I Learned from a Children's Book

I read Graceling very recently so I don't have to reread that book.

3551 I'm assuming that spoilers are okay in this thread! *SPOILER*:

Well, Katsa's talent actually turns out to be something other than killing people.

3551 Lia,

To be a discussion leader it is best/easiest if the leader has already read the book or if they can at least finish the book toward the beginning of the month the group reads it, at the latest.

Also, you can take a look at some of the previous book discussions in this group and get an idea of what kinds of messages to encourage discussion that previous discussion leaders have posted.

3551 Jessica, The book swap feature is in soft beta release and is brand new too. I doubt many members have used it yet.

3551 Lia,

Go to the group's home page. Scroll down a bit. When it says all new unread, click on new. Using the scroll down menu select the folder and choose the Shiver folder (http://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_fol...)(you can click on the select new topic from this folder page too) and then in the box start talking about the book and post your message. In the topic heading title list the book's name and say there will be spoilers if there will be so members know that. Or go to a thread, and post a reply in the comment box after you've read the messages already posted in the thread.

I think that's right. Moderators or other members, correct if I've given some bad advice.

Plus, the games lasted such a short period of time. Who even knew if it was being televised to where. I liked the ending. I thought it set up interesting possibilites for book three.
