The Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder is meant to be read this way, too. But how you get kids to wait, especially if they're voracious readers, I don't know.

3551 Wednesday Wars was hilarious, and so was Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie. Both good, clean books.

3551 I'm a former YA librarian, and I'm glad to hear that some YAs still love to read! I belong to a real-live book club of librarians who read YA Lit and meet once a month to discuss it. We recently read Hunger Games, too.

I mostly read to escape Reality TV!
