3551 I'm obsessed with book blogs lately and check out what I've found:

Kick Off Summer Giveaway

Great way to compete for some great looking YA books. :)

3551 Hey BookWink - loved the companion novel - The Dead and the Gone - it was a bit more scarier, but I loved it as well. :)

3551 From the author note at the end, it sounds like he is going to be writing a spin off series, but maybe that's just my brain really wanting him to.

3551 I'm reading it right now.. although my final for my college class is getting in the way. I haven't gotten past the first chapter but I'm already loving it.

3551 I've already read Gulliver's Travels - what a bear. I'm currently working through Wondrous Strange, The Battle of the Labyrinth, and Royal Affairs A Lusty Romp Through the Extramarital Adventures That Rocked the British Monarchy.

I'm planning on reading the following this month:
Lament The Faerie Queen's Deception
Alis
Secrets of the Tudor Court The Pleasure Palace
Eon Dragoneye Reborn
The Last Olympian

At least these... we'll see what else I get through on my to-read list. Especially since classes are over after next week.

3551 Welcome Amy! I'm a middle school library so I have the same excuse for my fiance.
3551 Oooh! The Fog Mound Travels of Thelonious fits that but I think it may be too new.

3551 I've read all three so far and have really enjoyed them.

3551 Haven't yet read any of the ones I said I would. I have, however, read:

The Amaranth Enchantment and am reading currently:
Fragile Eternity, May Bird and the Ever After Book One, and I Capture the Castle.

Three more I may read this month (besides those listed earlier):
Bones of Faerie
Standard Hero Behavior
Daughter of the Flames

Anyone finished the latest FableHaven yet. My 10 year old swiped the copy we got at the launch party and I won't get it until he's done.

I loved the first three and I have the fourth waiting for me on hold at the library. They're really great fantasy books.

3551 Oh that's sad! I'm actually an aide right now finishing my library endorsement and there are a ton of jobs open in my area.. of course there are also a lot of jobs being cut too.. so I may have some big competition.

3551 Ooh thanks! I just read that book too! Loved it!

3551 Hi! My name is Kristen and I currently work in a school library in a building that has 5th and 6th graders. I love YA books, some that I don't think are appropriate for my 5th and 6th graders.. so I end up frequenting my public library for more YA fixes. I love fantasy the most in the YA series but will pick up mostly anything if it is strongly recommended. I don't think I'll ever stop reading YA books - even if I didn't work in a school library.
