3551 Welcome to the group Stephanie. I am a big YA reader myself. I agree we all have a little OCD/Craziness in us. I am going to have to check out that website you mentioned. :)

3551 Books I will read:

Frostbite-Richelle Mead(Book 2)- DONE
Shadow Kiss-Richelle Mead(Book 3)
Rage: A Love Story-Julie Anne Peters

3551 I was also suprised by the ending... the ending threw me off. The whole time I thought that both twins were alive. I must have read too fast about the part where the other twin died in the car accident early in the book.

3551 I like Ian. He's tried so hard to be supportive of Kaeleigh and let her know that he was there for her no matter what. Kaeleigh kept shutting him out which was understandable. When you go through major life changing trauma it affects who you think you can trust in life.

3551 I think it really depends whether or not the reader can handle the subject matter and be open minded to it if that makes any sense.

3551 Did anyone think that the amount of problems the family had was unrealistic? Maybe somewhat overkill?

I did. There were a lot of issues this family had... sexual abuse, parental neglect, drug/alcohol abuse, being sexually active, etc. Very unrealistic.

3551 Have you read any of Ellen's other books? If so, what did you think of them? Would you recommend them to others?
Aug 21, 2009 10:52AM

3551 What do you think of the format of the book? Do you think it makes it easier or harder to comprehend the story? Do you like this format or do you prefer the Chapter format?

I like the format. I think it's unique and it is a new way of comprehending a story. I also think this format is what makes Ellen Hopkins stand out from other authors.

3551 Are you looking for any Gay and Lesbian reads? I can recommend some.
