Bianca's comments from the YA Book Club group.

I've come to the realisation that I only ever read a YA book if the main character is female!
If a book looks good but the blurb says something about a male protagonist I become instantly disinterested.
Does anyone else have this problem?
And what books can you suggest that have good male leads?

Tomorrow, When the War Began - John Marsden
Any Tamora Pierce series set in Tortall
The Lord of the Rings - J.R.R. Tolkien
Ancient Future - Traci Harding
Poison Study - Maria V. Snyder (Surprised this one hasn't come up yet!)
