Well my daughter started these on Sunday night and is already through the first 3. She loves them and dare I say, she even said they are better than Twilight! Hmmm... I don't know. I think maybe it's just been awhile since she read Twilight.
WoooHoo!! Savvy is ready to be picked up from the library. I'll have to add that to my November books.

I hope you love A Great and Terrible Beauty. That is my favorite trilogy. It's great!
November?!?!? I havent even made it thought October! :-) Hmmm, I will have to give it some thought. I'd like to read Shiver, for sure, since I didnt get to it this month. And another one or two by Ellen Hopkins.
Angie wrote: "I've heard a lot about Wintergirls! Sounds like a good book! "Angie, I thought Wintergirls was very good. It's well written and you really get a sense of what the main character feels. I found myself feeling sad and anxious reading it. It's a pretty dark book.
And I FINALLY finished The Girl Who Played with Fire!!! Geez-oh-pete's, I thought I would never finish. Now on to my YA splurge for October. I started Burned by Ellen Hopkins last night. I loved Identical so I am looking forward to this one.
Kate wrote: "I think the actor that played Damon would make a better Edward than Rob Pattinson. And I am looking forward to reading the books--the show has gotten me interested. And how do you know Stephenie ..."I was thinking Stefan would have been a better Edward. I thought the last episode was good... Nice little cliffhanger. If you've read the books, how much sex is there? Are they appropriate for a 13 y/o?
Off subject a bit but... Has anyone seen this Twilight parody, Nightlight A Parody? Sorry to all Twilight lovers but this sounds like fun!
I need to get reading! I finally bought it last weekend. I have to finish one or two other books first. I can't wait for the live chat!
I just picked up Burned by Hopkins at the library. I can't wait to read it but I am making myself finish The Girl Who Played with Fire first.
And, totally off subject, but I see you brought Jack back! I'm jealous...maybe I should dig mine out, too. :-)
Isn't it great, Angie? I loved it. I kept putting it down and thinking "how does she DO that??" Especially when she switches from one sister's POV to the other. So talented.
I haven't read any of the books but I checked out the first episode w/ my daughter. I thought it was pretty good. And, I'll even say that I think the acting was better on this show than the highly publicized (with higher budget??) True Blood series (which I also enjoy). I was pleasantly surprised.
