Some really good YA books with a lot of humor include 'The Amulet of Samarkand' and 'Skullduggery Pleasant'-which was absolutely hilarious. Other stuff of course includes Harry Potter and the Artemis Fowl books, both of which I highly recommend. I also like Shannon Hale's books--start with 'The Goose Girl'.
Hi! My name's Kite, and I recently turned 18 years old. I've never had a job and prefer to spend my time reading or writing instead. This fall, I plan on attending U of M with a major in structural civil engineering, which means I get to be the one who builds roads, bridges, dams, and all that good stuff!
The first book in this series was mildly entertaining, but the later ones aren't worth reading. There's certainly plenty of excitement, but after a while you come to expect it. The plot ceases to interest you and the characters become relatively stagnant.
