I didn't feel like she disliked Holling, I think it was his interpretation of her facial expressions, not a genuine distaste on her part. She was definitely looking for somewhere else for him to be on Wednesdays, but maybe just for a free period for herself, and better spent time for him.

I saw it recently and it seemed a little dated. Not as scary as I had remembered, and since I just recently finished the book, the differences between book and movie seemed glaring. I was delighted to see Jonathon Price as Mr. Dark though, I had forgotten he was in it.
I liked it, but didn't Love it. I can't believe how long it took me to get through it, and usually I am a quick reader. Good book, but not a great book. Wow, I feel guilty saying that.
I just finished Trouble by Gary Schmidt. I am now a big fan of Mr. Schmidt and plan on adding other titles by him to my list!
I'm going to read it.
