I just wanted to post a link here to let all of you know about a Tolkien reading challenge that I'm going to be hosting here: http://tolkienquest.blogspot.com. For all of you who love Tolkien, but haven't gotten around to reading some of his posthumous works, you may be interested in participating. I've always wanted to get into the History of Middle-earth series, but put it off because I wanted to re-read The Trilogy and The Silmarillion again beforehand. Well, this time, I'm going the full nine yards with a list of 22 books including The Hobbit, The Trilogy, The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales, The Children of Hurin, the entire History of Middle-earth series, and others. You don't have to read all 22 with me, but you can join in with whatever books you like.
The challenge begins on September 22--I hope to see you on the Tolkien Quest blog!
