I hate having to keep buying credits. I have around 160 on my wish list but only 70 on my have list. I guess the user base is different between here and Bookmooch. I have 21 credits over there.
These are the ones on my wishlist: The Amish Cook at Home Simple Pleasures of Food, Family, and Faith
Food 2.0 Secrets from the Google Chef
I'm Just Here for the Food Food + Heat = Cooking
None of them are moving too fast!
It seems like cookbooks are the hardest books to come by. I guess this is because once you get them people are reluctant to trade them. I have 2-3 on my wishlist but they never really seem to move.
Jackie wrote: "William, you'll have to tell me what you think of WWZ. I don't really do zombie books but I liked it!"It is not what I expected at all. I am pleasantly surprised. It reads like a documentary ...I like the interview like format. I have read his Zombie survival guide as well.
I picked up about 50 romance books at yard sales. For the time being I am going to offer a buy one get one free deal on my romance books only. You pick a romance book from my list and I'll send another of my choosing. Any takers?
I have reached a lull in the action for people requesting books! I guess that makes my postman happy. I reckon it will pick back up come fall or winter as reading season resumes.
I have had several lately that were never accepted. I guess people just join for a lark then quit logging on.
I have a never ending supply on my to read shelf and enroute! My wife thinks I am crazy. I am currently reading a ghost story called Sweetheart, Sweetheart by Bernard Taylor. It is ok so far but a little slower than I am used to.
