3124 I liked "Sandman" by Neil Gaiman and "Uzumaki", which is Japanese. You can find "Uzumaki" in the anime section of your local comic book store. Very weird set of graphic novels.

I have a weakness for steampunk, so I enjoy "Ruse" and "The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen". Another good one is "Dawn". Since I've long been a Tomb Raider fan, I love the Lara Croft comic books.

3124 One of my favorite characters is FBI Special Agent Aloysius Pendergast in Preston/Child books like "The Relic" and "Cabinet of Curiosities". He's pretty amazing and fascinating.

3124 I read that "War of the Oaks" is one of the best urban fantasies out there, so I bought it. I haven't finished it yet.

Sometimes I think Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child lean towards urban fantasy, especially with books like "The Relic". I've always enjoyed Clive Barker.
