I agree! I would much rather read a book than watch a movie or TV. My husband doesn't understand that at all...

Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series was the first "urban fantasy" I read and I still think she's the best. I love juicy books where every word means something and I just want to take out a highlighter and go through every sentence.

But there are some other great authors like Kelley Armstrong, Patricia Briggs, Carrie Vaughn, Charlaine Harris... I read far too much.
