3124 One of my favorite series is PsyCop by Jordan Castillo Price. Among the Living (PsyCop, #1) by Jordan Castillo Price is free directly from the author's website. A great way to try out the series!

It is only free until midnight through New Year's

Warning, it does have m/m romance and sex scenes, just in case that bothers you. It is a fantastic UF series though, I wouldn't pass it up!
3124 I can't wait to read that series. The first book is waiting for me at the library.

I also need to add Midnight Riot (Peter Grant, #1) by Ben AaronovitchBen Aaronovitch
3124 Great list NU!
3124 I can't wait to get to these books and see what I think. :) It sounds fascinating the way you describe it Rebecca.
3124 I heard she has a new assistant (she had previously been with out an assistant) and I heard a rumor that her most recent book is being edited (which her previous ones after a certain point had not been). Anyone else hear this?
3124 It is hard sometimes to be so excited about discoverying this series, b/c lol -- I am so late to the game and most people's enthusiasm is long gone. :) I am hoping to stretch my love for the series to 12 (I have some GR friends who liked it through 12). But I am glad to hear you still have postiive thoughts and hold it the first 9 that highly!
3124 I just finished book #6 and I know this is a debate about the series and I am not far enough in the series yet, but I am just loving this series so much. I thought Killing Dance was fantastic, the best so far.
3124 Another one: I Am Not A Serial Killer (John Cleaver, #1) by Dan Wells Mr. Monster (John Cleaver Series #2) by Dan Wells I Don't Want to Kill You (John Cleaver, #3) by Dan Wells
3124 This is the order I recommend:

Mercy Thompson
Downside Ghosts

3124 I would check out what your library has for downloads - -through and also, anyone can join (for a fee of $15) the Philadelphia digital library, which has a good selection of audio books. I have a membership of audible and keep meaning to cancel, b/c I am able to get the majority of my audio books from overdrive.

I agree with the recommendations above. Also, I am listening to Bloody Bones Anita Blake # 5 on audio, and the narration is fantastic.

3124 Jim Butcher said in an interview that Mab is one of his favorite characters to write about and writer their dialogue (Mouse was another one). So I am guessing we may have quite a bit of Mab in the next few books and perhaps the tension will revolve around Harry's conflicts with following Mab's orders.

I watched several interviews yesetrday but didn't see those. Wow. That is mind blowing. But I guess the title of #13 says it all!! I do aree that Dresden isn't going to switch focus of the series to Maggie or Molly or Murphy, it will still be Harry. Hopefully this is a way to get out of service to Mab!!

3124 So I just finished Side Jobs and Changes. For those who are up to date in the series. What is your theory about ******SPOILER************

what happened to Dresden and what the title Ghost Story tells us about what happened?

3124 Should I read Changes now or wait until March? I have finished Turn Coat and am about to read the short story that is in between Turn Coat and Changes (Love Hurts). Then I will be all caught up on all my Dresden Files novels and shorts. I am trying to decide if I should wait until March to read Changes and then the short that comes after it Aftermath. I know it ends with a cliffhanger ..... thoughts?

3124 If you want to buy them from an independent seller who makes them on their own -- check out, that is where I bought mine, there is a good variety.
