30999 Yep, I'm reading it! She's a few chapters ahead of me though, I'm going to catch up.

30999 I think it really depends on your target audience.

I don't mind sex in the story, and even love a reallly hot scene. But then I like to read erotica.

30999 Yep, I'm at 49%.
Jan 14, 2013 05:17PM

30999 I second that. We read it together. It was so good, crazy intense!
Jan 14, 2013 07:47AM

30999 Mmmm, well let me just say that (view spoiler). I won't tell you how, but it's still there.

It was a little slow in the beginning, and new characters are introduced. But as the story goes on it got better. The badguy, Saint John, was pretty creepy.

(view spoiler) was definitely my favorite too. And I still hold out hope that we haven't seen the end of that, lmao. It's probably a long shot, but I'll think that until the end of the next book (which is the last book).

Uh ohhh, be ready Wendy and Stacia... We may have to read this one sooner ..."

Hahahahaha! We may have to rearrange our schedule!

30999 I'm going to remove your post, as it is a promotion and we do not allow those in any threads but the one specifically desginated for them.

Please, feel free to repost.

Wow, I've never seen that cover of Under the Never Sky. I think I like it more.

YES, The First Days (As the World Dies, #1) by Rhiannon Frater was a wild ride! I couldn't put the book down. So good.

Stacia, I'm going to try to squeeze that in this weekend, Every Day, because I need something that's more of a serious book (and it sounds like it might be?). So I'll definitely let you know what I think of it.

I can start Troubleshooters if you want? I was about to read another post apocolypse books, The First Days (As the World Dies, #1) by Rhiannon Frater but can..."

Darn, lmao. I want to read that too! I'm tempted to read that one now, hahahaha.

It's up to you, since I'm throwing a wrench in your plans. I can start Troubleshooters if you're feeling that. If not I'll either bite the bullet and start First Days with you, since I've had that, or continue with Double Clutch...

Off to read your review, did you like the series?
Jan 08, 2013 09:38AM

30999 Leea, I'm going to read Double Clutch (Brenna Blixen, #1) by Liz Reinhardt, lol.

We can just stick to the original plan, lmao. I'm sorry to be yanking your chain, hahaha.
Jan 08, 2013 08:36AM

30999 We haven't gotten through them all yet. We're on book 7.
Jan 08, 2013 07:45AM

30999 I'm feeling the strangest urge to read the Troubleshooters, but won't without you, lmao. So I was just wondering if you're still reading Aftertime.

No pressure! If you're not ready I can pick up something else. I just need something without magic for now, and thought I'd ask if you wanted to before we start Under the Never Sky on thursday.

LOL, Angie! That's how I am too! And he'll want my attention and I'll say "I've only got 15% left!"
Jan 08, 2013 06:19AM

30999 Hey Leea, you around here? Got a question!
Jan 03, 2013 07:45AM

30999 That stinks about your phone! It keeps happening when we do my husband's phone too. It's a pain in the heiny.

30999 Regina wrote: "I do like the language too. I still need to return to Chasing Magic (Downside Ghosts, #5) by Stacia Kane but for some reason I lost my desire to, entirely."

It was pretty good. Not as good as 3 or 4, but good.
Jan 03, 2013 07:24AM

30999 I love that aspect of Unholy Ghosts. Especially because it's how they speak in downside, so in that world it's their version of slang.

I'm sure it's as convoluted to us as our street slang is right now to others in the world.

It lent the story some realism to me. The likelihood is there would be a modified new way that the speek in less educated parts of that world. It was cool. I want a shirt that says, "Right up, Chessiebomb. True Thing." Lmao!
The Walking Dead (278 new)
Jan 01, 2013 09:27AM

30999 huh... well that makes me more curious to watch it. I love Eric, lmao. He was my favorite in the books and in the show.
The Walking Dead (278 new)
Jan 01, 2013 08:52AM

30999 I quit True Blood season before last. I just wasn't real happy with how they handled Eric. Book 4 was my favorite, and I know they don't follow the books, but I didn't like how they deviated that one.
Viking Romance (6 new)
Dec 29, 2012 07:15AM

30999 I haven't read one in a long time, but when I was younger my favorite one was:

Lord of Hawkfell Island (Viking #2) by Catherine Coulter Lord of Raven's Peak (Viking, #3) by Catherine Coulter Lord of Falcon Ridge (Viking #4) by Catherine Coulter

And I just realized there's a prequel to those that I didn't read, lmao. Season of the Sun (Viking, #1) by Catherine Coulter
