Typically I'm one to make myself stick with a book til the end, but this year I decided to give myself some grace and put the bad ones down and let them go. My worst two for 08 . . .
Mary Poppins, She Wrote and The Perfect Scent.
My neighbor makes THE BEST chocolate chip cookies . . . all she does is follow the recipe on the Toll House chip bag and adds one box of vanilla pudding mix to her batter (just the powdered mix -- not the made pudding). So darn yummy good . . . I think I have to go make myself some cookies now!
Thauna, thanks for bringing this up. I also saw them on Amazon and got bit by the bug.
I agree with Holli too. I'd miss holding the book. THOUGH, Kindle is obviously the greener way to go. And Anastasia makes great points about travelling and taking it to the gym. Tera, let's hope you are right and the prices will drop. So I'll hold out and wait for the new version.
Congratulations Emily! How exciting for you and hubby too!
Since I'm single w/out children, I can offer you NO sound advice whatsoever. I still ask my 2-yr-old niece which is the front of the diaper and which is the back. At least I now know there IS a front and a back.
Tera, you really are hilarious.
GoodReads is asking for a little support in nominating them for a "Crunchie" Award. No, I have no idea what a Cruchie Award is, but the GR higher powers want it, so why not help them get it.

Just an FYI . . .
BookTour.com is a site that lets you know what authors will be in your area when.
Enjoy!
Laura ~ Just giggling hoping hubby doesn't smother himself. ;-)
Thanks for mentioning the sound machine. My nieces each have one and was thinking of getting one myself.
I take a script drug every night and this entire post has helped. I'd like to cut the dosage and all of this info is quite helpful.
Thanks ladies! I'm already on PBS but the all-in-one'ness of SwapTree sounded convenient.
Good point Tera about incompatible swapping. I'm sure they figured that one out.
Thanks for the input. Appreciated!
Hey Chick-lits!
You all are quickly becoming my very trusted "go to" source.
Anyone heard of or have experience with Swaptree.com? Looks like an all-in-one trade place for books, dvds, cds, etc. (And it's free.)
In addition to the CoL Bunko Bloggers, these are my regular stomps.

-- I am far from a brainiac, however, my cousin and his wife are both now featured science bloggers for the Discovery network. In an effort to be a supportive family member, I really do attempt to read their blogs, but usually only make it through one or two paragraphs. At least I try.

Just visited this site. The cheapest monthly rate I see is $20/month after the first month. Interesting and I wonder why that is.
I'm going to stick to PaperBackSwap.com. I haven't had a problem with it at all.
Don't laugh . . . I'm reading Anne of the Island (book #3 in the Anne of Green Gables series). I never read these books when I was younger. I'm really enjoying them and how L.M. Montgomery really allowed Anne to grow and mature through the series.
