2996 I plan to finish mine this weekend!
2996 I loved the book and I'm usually disappointed with movies based on books. I thought it could have been much worse, but I agree Tera that they left out so much. There was much more to the relationship between David and Norah. I gave it a 3.5.

2996 Count me in! I would love to get my hands back on my paper, scissors, and glue. I was thinking of giving my stash away, but maybe this would encourage me to start scrapping again.

2996 You go girl! I'm impressed.

Did you know Memory Keeper's Daughter was made into a movie and it will be on Lifetime this month. I loved that book and I can't wait to see it! But movies are never as good as the book.

2996 I have to agree with Mandy. My Sister's Keeper was the first book I read by her and I was hooked right away. Definitely start with My Sister's Keeper.

2996 Congratulations to you! My Dad went through getting his disability approved about 4 years ago, so I know what a long and stressful process it can be. Good for you!

2996 I usually hate self help books. Yes, I know I need all the help I can get. LOL, but I really end up thinking in the back of my mind that every self help book is filled with information that you really know in the back of your mind. So, I'm glad I didn't run out and get it. I knew I could count on my Chick Lit members to give the real review on this book.

2996 I am a blog addict! I love searching and finding new blogs to read! I hope everyone checks out each others blogs.

2996 I'm game for almost anything. Barbara Kingsolver books are wonderful! Other authors I enjoy are Elizabeth Berg, Maya Angelou, Jodi Picoult, Jennifer Weiner.
I also recommend The Patron Saint of Liars by Ann Patchett.

2996 I'm game for anything. I must admit that I didn't care for Five Quarters of the Orange at all. I love poetry, it would definitely be different to do that.

2996 I'm so glad we're not starting until next Friday. I ordered mine last Friday and still haven't received it yet. I can't wait to start.

2996 I LOVE Jodi Piccoult! The first book I read by her was My Sister's Keeper and I was absolutely hooked! I can't wait until her new book comes out in March. I just started reading Harvesting The Heart.

2996 Well, I didn't buy any this year. There's a first time for everything. The thin mints are the only one's that still taste the same to me. They just don't taste as good to me anymore or my taste buds have matured as I have. LOL!

2996 I loved The Joy Luck Club too Jackie. My favorite has got to be One True Thing.

2996 I would say 3 weeks is plenty of time for anyone to read 320 pages. I'm going to head out to find the book today. I'm excited about it!

2996 I'm Rolana, FSUScrapper on twopeas.

I'm single and live in FL. I've been an RN for ten years and recently started working in the Recovery Room at the large teaching hospital where I live. I love what I do and love being able to help people. I used to work in cardiology.

I have one furbaby, a shih tzu named Charlie.

I have loved to read ever since I was a little girl. My mother gave me this love of reading and books! I mainly read fiction or chick lit. I usually don't care for romance unless it's disguised as fiction. My favorite authors are Terri McMillan, Elizabeth Berg, Jodi Piccoult, Anna Quindlen, Janet Evanovich, and Maya Angelou to name a few. I also enjoy listening to all kinds of music, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends. I also scrap a little, but lately I haven't scrapped at all.

I'm reading looking forward to getting to know everyone in the group!
