Lisa, I felt the same way when I read it awhile ago. It was good and very interesting, but it was not captivating.

2996 Just wanted to let you know how I am coming along. I wrote about 15,000 new words, but I have been mostly editing, and trying to put what I wrote in November into some semblance of order so I can go forward. I have made a lot of progress in the month of December, and with the 15K in new words, I added a lot of new cool material.

I am really excited about this, and plan to keep moving forward in January. I didn't write as much as I wanted to with the Christmas season, but now that there is a lull (except for planning my gardening...JO!!!!!) I should be able to get even more accomplished.

Happy New Year to all my fellow NANO writers. Love ya girls!

2996 I read only two of them, and heard of only three all together. So many books, so little time.

I had to re-read Wuthering Heights to really appreciate how original and terrific it is.

I guess I loved all things Louisa May Alcott back then. It was just a heartwarming story and the only one I ever read that was about Scottish people. Also, my dad bought it for me so it made it extra special.

I love this book. My daddy (I was 8) and I were buying my mom a present, and he saw Eight Cousins in the Five and Ten Cent store, and he bought it for me. I still have it. It is worn and torn, but I loved that book to death.

2996 I have been writing. I am so motivated. I am now working on my 50,000 words mean something. I added another 10,000 plus words. I will give you an update to exactly how many. I have really got it in good form, and I ordered some books from the library to read up on being a better writer.

I am so inspired after doing this with you lovely ladies. I don't think I would have made it to 50K without the encouragement from all of you. My husband and sister have been my sounding boards too.

2996 Geez, I wish I could have read more than 10 pages in The Help. I will definitely have to give it a shot again.
