2996 I recieved The Tales of Beedle the Bard by JK Rowling, The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry (Illustrated by P.J. Lynch), and The Random House Book of Fairy Tales. Well, I suppose Santa left them from me and my little one. :)

2996 Fingersmith, by Sarah Waters. So far, it is really interesting. I also really enjoyed Tipping the Velvet, by Sarah Waters as well.
2996 "Love You Forever" - by Robert Munsch (Illustrated Sheila McGraw)--It's so sweet and perfect.

2996 This idea sounds great, but I don't think I have the time for this right now.

2996 Those rules seem fair enough ;)

I nominate Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister by Gregory Maguire.

2996 What are the rules for the group read? Does it have to be a certain genre of book?

2996 Hello everyone, my name is Apol. Much like everyone here I love-love-love to read. For the basics I: live in the Northwest...go to school school...work part time at a day program for adults with disabilities... have a 2yo son... am celebrating 3 years of marriage soon. I'm keeping myself busy. When I have spare time I enjoy art, crafting, sewing, baking but mostly reading.
I'm kind of new to this site and I'm just getting the hang of it. This group seems really interesting.
The most recent book I have read (besides text books) was Black Hole by Charles Burns. It is a graphic novel, a little dark and twisty but good.
