A friend just got a bunch of Dorothy Simpson books from Paperback Swap and sent them to me but I haven't got started on the books as yet.

Groups_nophoto-50x66 I read and enjoyed The Missing Ink but I hated to see the end of the Annie Seymour series. That was the best.

Groups_nophoto-50x66 Boneyard is an excellent book. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

Groups_nophoto-50x66 I've enjoyed all of the Jack Daniels series and reviewed most of them. I'm reading Fractured by Karin Slaughter now and haven't decided what's up next.

Groups_nophoto-50x66 Many of the blogs are just great but I don't have time to check them on a regular basis. If I was totally retired I'd probably check them out daily. I read three newsgroups (or try to) and that is about all I can keep up with.

I finished Beneath the Bleeding last night. I agree with you that it was very hard to put down. A five star book for sure.

Yes, I read the book. I liked it but there have been a lot of posts on newsgroups - some loved it and some hated it.

I appreciate your recommendation that I read the other Koryta books first but that isn't possible right now. The Silent Hour is for review and I'm on a deadline but I've put all of his books on my wish list.

I have a copy of The Silent Hour coming for review. It looks like I'm in for a good read from your remarks.

Linda,

The Secret Speech is excellent and carries on the story started in Child 44 but can be read as a stand-alone.

I recently did a review on the paperback edition of The Turnaround for Armchair Interviews and I really liked the book. Hope you enjoy it too.

Groups_nophoto-50x66 Yes, you are right. I was going home today and check over my list of books read - I kept thinking Kay Hooper but it was Iris Johansen.

Now I can quit thinking about it.

Good books.
