I agree with everyone who says it's the best money they've ever spent! I can't even express how much I love my kindle (Naomi). It's almost like a security blanket for me, I take it everywhere I go and spend every spare moment reading on it (vacation, lunch breaks, doctors offices, business trips, coffee shops, etc). Not to mention every night before sleep. I get panicky if I don't have it with me!

If you are a big time reader and a bookstore kind of a person rather than a library person, I definitely recommend it. Most books are cheaper than at the bookstore. But it can get very expensive. There are a lot of freebies every month you can download but I have bought over 50 books in the 8 months I've owned it. I'd say BK (before kindle) I read maybe 15-20 books a year and now, AK, I'm on pace to read 70 or more :) I think you should go for it!

I was reading mine in the waiting room at the dentist office last week and ended up passing it around and having a convo with 5 other people! The receptionist said it was the liveliest conversation she'd ever seen there :D In a way I liked it, but in a way I was annoyed because I was in the middle of a very racy scene (ha!)

I just looked last night, in 4 months I have read 18 books on my Kindle. I thought I read a lot before but this is more than I read last year alone.. I'm so excited to read each book and start on the next. I love it
