Sam reminds me more of her heroes from her Promises series which I like better. I wasn't a big fan of Sam's Creed and it seems that readers like either book 1 or 2 but rarely both.

Carolyn, even if a book is really bad I end up finishing it. I wish I could be one of those people that just throws in the towel and moves on but I'm always hoping it gets better and rarely does.
I never had any luck with Hannah Howel and just stopped buying her books altogether.
Kathy that's an excellent read! I'm reading the first one in Chase's Scoundrels series: The Lion's Daughter and my god is it ever bad!
Edna Lyn wrote: "I've started Sin and Sensibility by Suzanne Enoch. I read her Lessons in Love series earlier this year and enjoyed them a lot. I finally got around to reading more from her."That's a good one Edna Lyn :) I loved her "Lessons in Love" series.
Thanks for letting us know Suzanne :) It's nice when authors give "non-professional" reviewers an opportunity to read their books. If you ask me, word of mouth works way better than just about any professional review. I've seen virtually unknown or nearly forgotten books suddenly become super popular because of all the talk on GR alone.

Just about everything I've read from her backlist is excellent. This one is book 3 in the Griffin family series and it's just 'ok' but maybe it'll pickup. Her "With this Ring" series is my favourite so far. I have her newer series still to read. She's basically a comfort read for me (lol!) When I've read too much crap I can usually count on a good Enoch book to put things back to right =)
I'm not a fan of inappropriately scattered f-this f-that, cock, p*** etc. If it's in the right context then that's fine. A perfect example for me of one that's very poorly done is Lisa Valdez's Passion. That book is too crude and not sexy. As for the c***word, I don't care if it's in erotica or not, I never think it's appropriate even if the heroine uses it about herself.
I just finished "And then He Kissed Her" --are the rest in her Girl Bachelors series as good? This is the first time I've read anything by her. I ordered "The Marriage Bed" too.
I just finished Laura Lee Guhke's "And then He Kissed Her" and it was excellent! Now I'm reading Suzanne Enoch's Something Sinful.
Suzanne, the Bridgertons is a great series. My favourites so far and #3 & #5. The only other Quinn book I've read is #9 and I liked it overall but I didn't care for the wimpy hero all that much. I have her latest one on order. The Wallflowers is another excellent series. My faves are #13, 14.
I read "And one Wore Grey" and I didn't like it it. It seemed like a copy of one of her books from her Viking series and the heroine was TSTL at times.
You know what I should've added was Karen Marie Moning's The Highlander's Touch --how could I forget Circenn ;)
