Hi Florentine. What Historical Romance (HR) book(s) did you read? Based on what you like(d), you get lots of recommendations here. :-) Nice to see you here.
"Caleb" is one my Unfinished for 2009 books. :-( It's a paranormal-modern. If you've read "Mac's Law" by her, kinda similar in the sex scene department.
New group is now underway that allows us to vote on our favorite romance books. Romance Book Polls. Come take a look.
In the Alpha Hero's & Spitfire Heroine's Group we were discussing how the powers-that-be at Goodreads did not create a category for romance books in the annual GRs polls.
Dina, provided a link to the AAR site and I want to pass it on.
Here it is.
Remember voting begins January 18 and ends January 31st. Clicking on the link brings up the categories so you can plan ahead, if you choose.
Thanks again, Dina!
Ah, thank you. That name sounded so familiar. :-)Congratulations, Melissa, on finishing your degree. Quite an accomplishment. Good for you. :-) Welcome back to the wonderful world of fictional reading.

Cathy are those historical romance or fiction? This group and thread is for historical romance books. Sorry. Do you have any HR books you liked in 2009?
Best HR for me in 2009:1. "Ride the Fire" by Pamela Clare. I re-read it this year and it still came up as a favorite.
2. "Leading Her to Heaven" by Kayleigh Jamison
3. "Comanche Moon" by Catherine Anderson (another re-read). It was THAT good. :-)
4. "Comanche Heart" by Catherine Anderson
5. "Indigo Blue" by Catherine Anderson
Worst:
1. "Somewhere in Time" by Barbara Bretton
2. "Master of the Highlands" by Veronica Wolf
Primarily, this topic is for what Historical Romance books you are reading. Once in awhile, if you are an avid HR reader and want to mention another genre, fine. No problem.
But, if you don't like HR and don't read HR, don't post about what other genre's you are reading. Please go find another group(s) that include your genres and post away.
If you are an author or author's friend, don't use this folder to sneak a plug.
Continued membership in this group is at stake and your unrelated posts will be deleted.
Thank you for your continued support and let's keep this group as focused on Historical Romance as possible by readers that love this genre.
As 2009 approaches, curious to see what HR books people read in 2009 that they thoroughly enjoyed and what they didn't.
Happy reading to you all. :-)
Is this related to the Dear Author... Site that is written by "Janes?"Did you mean to include a link in that message? I don't see one. :-(
