Yes! Its delish. And there's no reason you couldn't invent pork lentils. Although lentils have a tendency to fall apart if you cook them for a long time, so you can't really stew them like beans. But I'm thinking you could still do some good stuff with hambones and lentils.
Turns out sauerkraut is great hangover food. Who knew?
The carp thing kind of scares me though. Sooo many bones!
I was just thinking about Christmas carp this morning.
(I used to be married to a Czech. Thus the knowledge of the Christmas carp.)
Malaprop. When you mispronounce or misspell something or substitute one word for another with unintentionally comic effect. Named after Mrs. Malaprop in a 1700's play called The Rivals, she did it constantly.
Servius is kind of a master of the malaprop.
Its true he does make everyone else seem smarter and saner. Then again, he might be giving us a false sense of security. I mean - "at least I'm not as crazy as that" is setting the bar kind of low, frankly.
Simon, aim for a greater level of coherence please.
Dude, that made absolutely no sense.
We are not part of the United Nation. I live in the United States, which are a group of states which united to form a nation. There is also an organization called the United Nations (S) which are a group of nations that united to form the UN organization. But there is no such thing as United Nation - that is not a place or an organization. In fact it doesn't make sense. And the line from the pledge is not invisible its indivisible - as in cannot be divided. As for common sins, again, don't get it. Whaaaa are you talking about?
And Joan Crawford is not a sock puppet.
But "twas the Night Before Christmas," the poem was never about Christ's birth. And its a well known poem and its 186 years old! Bit late to be complaining about it now!!
This person is not making a good impression.
