Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 2010! Are you ready for it? Can you believe it's almost 2010? I can't. I remember thinking how old I would be in 2000. Ugh.
2010. Here we come, ready or not.
Merry Christmas to you all.
Just started "Riding Wild" (Book #1 in Riding Wild series) and it started off with a bang. :-)
Here's the series:

New group is now underway that allows us to vote on our favorite romance books. Romance Book Polls. Come take a look.
Just finished "Skin Game" by Ava Gray and it was a nice romantic suspense. There was just a touch of a psychic ability, but I think it was so little that this series could fit nicely in our group.
Fast paced, hero had touch of Anne Stuart's hero qualities EXCEPT he was never mean or cruel to the heroine. He was, however, one kick-butt "dude" to anyone else.
It's the first in her Skin series and the characters, Mia and Foster, for the next book are brought to life in "Skin Game."
My opinion is the series should be read in order even though that contradicts the author's Site as she claims they are stand alones. (Bonk!)

In the Alpha Hero's & Spitfire Heroine's Group we were discussing how the powers-that-be at Goodreads did not create a category for romance books in the annual GRs polls.
Dina, provided a link to the AAR site and I want to pass it on.
Here it is.
Remember voting begins January 18 and ends January 31st. Clicking on the link brings up the categories so you can plan ahead, if you choose.
Thanks again, Dina!
Welcome, Lynne! I'm a Cherry Adair fan, too. Have you read any of Karen Rose? She can write some intense thriller-romances....
Reading the dedication to "Hidden Fire" I think I see where the name "Howard" came from. This book states:"To my grandmother, Ladine Howard...."
Makes sense.
Just finished "Hidden Fire" and LOVED it. Made my favorites shelf! And, hero-heartthrob shelf. :-) A keeper for sure. Great suspense, too.
If anyone is ready to list their best and worst romantic suspense books read in 2009, here's the topic for ya.
Merry Christmas to all of you! :-)
I like him! His character is developing nicely and that reviewer at Romantic Times must have been thinking of another book. :-)
I'm reading, "Hidden Fire" by Jo Davis. It's the third in her Firefighters of Station 5 series, and I'm enjoying it.
How 'bout that! All signs were certainly pointing at Donny. Great season! LaToya, still in the audience, are there any rumors that she may be a contestant?
Enjoyed seeing Whitney Houston tonight. She seemed out of breath and I was disappointed that her voice seemed weak. Seen her stun audiences with her voice in the past, so was expecting the same.
Still love (love!) her rendition of the Star Spangle Banner that she did so many years ago. Like Oprah said, she was our treasure and hope she gets her life back in order.
I got the impression Louie has feelings for Kelly. What do you think?
Oh, so she must have done her doll dance before the red dress that she wore when she was voted off. She made it to the final three?
I recently finished "Make Her Pay" (#10 in the Bullet Catcher series) and it was okay. Not her best, but necessary read because the ending the Bullet Catcher Organization makes a major change. The hero, Con, first appeared in #9. Be sure to read these in order.
Yes, I think there is another dance tonight for the judges only. I wonder if the judges will have final say-so if voters choose one over another? All right. We've been discussing this and don't agree. Fire up those synapses, Auntee, got a question for you.
Did Marie perform the doll dance as her "free program" then get voted off?
