233 I'm not sure if it would or not, the right wing nazi's may try to censor it.

233 Joyce is the greatest writer to ever grace this planet and he was considered vulgar in his day.

233 I wasn't defending porn, I was merely saying that to imply it is inherently negative is just being ignorant.

233 You don't see a need for it? Sometimes, there are just no other words. You read 5 poems by each and expect to have seen their whole variety? You could pick 5 of mine at random and their would be no swearing.

233 Yes, those poets did swear. But what about others like Kerouac and Bukowski, who extensively swore, and were the voice of the generation? You can't say it is a bad thing to swear in poetry, you just can't.

233 "But perhaps there's a part in all of us that Doesn't need to be expressed."

That maybe the worst thing ever said about poetry.

233 "I am sorry Davis but if you use this kind of language in your poetry then I for one won't be reading it."

I think that if you actually read it, you may change your mind.

233 "I personally Find Michelangelo's Work Disgusting but that's just me."

Great, great stuff. Keep that sharp artistic trained, we need more people like you.

"And why shouldn't Christianity Decide whats Acceptable?? It teaches Decency And modesty everything that Society Is missing now days."

A) Because not everyone thinks like you.
B) Christianity doesn't work for everyone.
C) It doesn't really teach deceny and modesty, it just singles out groups of people and tortures them (i.e homosexuals). Christianity has no place enforcing it's morality on the rest of us (i.e objecting to swear words, protesting gay marriage).

233 Why is that we let Fundamentalist Christians decide what is acceptable in art for a society that is increasingly at odds with the values of Fundamentalism?

233 I use swears consistently in my poems, it adds to them, rather than detracts.
