Hello fellow writers and comrades,

I'd like to invite you to visit my blog, The “Bad Husband” Chronicles, your daily pit stop in comic relief! This is a new blog for me, so be patient as I’m learning the ropes. If you are a new visitor, please click on “Archives” so you can start from the beginning (September ‘08). That helps provide some background and hopefully, some insight as well.

I hope you will come and visit again, as I will be adding new chronicles daily. Keep your seatbelt fastened and chin up and as Lane Myer says in the classic movie, Better Off Dead, “This is as bad as it will ever get.” Please pass this blog around to anyone and everyone, as we can all benefit from knowing that we aren’t the only ones that have ever been in the pit of the abyss before! As an aside, please share your comments on the blog. Your email address is not made public and I am the only one who can view it as the administator of the site. I receive so many comments from many of you through email and encourage you to post them on the blog directly. Not to mention, my poor little Gmail account is like the little engine that could!

As far as I am concerned, rest easy, my friends. Before you prepare to throw me under the bus, I must tell you that this adventure in hysteria is nearing its end. So, you may be asking yourself: “How can such a clever gal make such stupid choices?” The only honest answer to that is that I’m as human as the next person and just as fallible. Thankfully, I am blessed with an incredible family and a scintillating wit that keeps me and those around me on their toes. I am not looking for an upgrade or a replacement model, just the opportunity to share my story with others.

As Morrissey says, “There is a light that never goes out.” Door #1: Get busy living; Door #2: Get busy dying. I choose Door #1.

Hi all,

I too am new to this site and would love to meet other poetry enthusiasts and writers alike. I am open to any recommendations on great works, as I often find myself leaning on the classics rather than exploring contemporary writers.
