233 They do, but I think what they publish online is different than the print edition. Ill find and post the URL.

233 Also, check out the thread on this forum for places to submit. I've found several great journals through here.

233 David, this sounds great. I'm only 40 minutes from Philly but have a regional site visit at work next week.

233 How wonderful-thanks to both of you for taking the time to post this. What a terrific poem.
233 I also pay attention to reading periods, submission guidelines, and have the greatest respect for editors. However, I think waiting years without even acknowledgement of receipt is unprofessional.

233 Ruth, this is exciting. Tar River is an excellent journal. Congrats!
233 I waited 2 years and received a thanks but no cigar reply. I have been in a few situations similar to the onees described where after what feels like forever there has been no reply, and I've withdrawn my submission. I actually had that happen with a submission that was accepted somewhere else about 1 year after I submitted it to the first journal. Even though I was confident they did not want the poem, I still sent tham a formal withdrawal.
233 Matt, thanks for posting, I like your work. I especially enjoy Eudora-my granddaughter just turned 4 and I can put her precisely in that situation.

233 Jan- I am a Bellevue reject, although I've not given up. I also consider Ploughshares big time. Calyx would sure be nice, as would Rattle. Big time is kind of like age-the age at which I think of someone as "old" increases as my own age does!
