I would have thought that the Dark Knight had a better chance of that."I'd agree. From the trailers, it seems like the CG is decent with things like the Archie etc, but it looks shoddy at best on Doc Manhattan... maybe it's just the clip I saw.
I was going to say "absolutely not" to watching the movie, but after watching a youtube interview with Snyder who says the whole purpose of the movie is to get someone interested in the graphic novel, and seeing positive reviews from people I trust, I have to say.. well.. perhaps absolutely not (I'll probably rip a copy of it). However, we're making a work from a medium that was originally created for easy consumption into another medium for easier consumption? How does that make sense? The whole beauty of any object is in its form, and the way it expands the limited space it has. We lose that identity as the form changes
Funny how the way Snyder puts it, we're spending 120 million dollars on advertising a (rather good) graphic novel.
The Sandman series of course... although it's a much different feel than Transmet, it's still my favorite. Also, try the Maxx, for psychological themes, he's not just your OG masked superhero.
