I'd certainly be willing to take a quiz for more responsibilities as a Librarian.
Librarians can't change that directly, since she's a Goodread's author. I'd notify the staff directly using the support link ("about us" at the bottom of the page).
Is this your new version?http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/70757...
The books need to be combined (which I did) before you can switch from one edition to another.
Reworking series is already on the to-do list. It's just complicated, so it's further down the list.Besides, this is currently posted in the Librarian group. The staff rarely reads the Librarian threads. You need to add new suggestions to Feedback.
It's basically a display for bookstores. Things like that should be NOT A BOOK-ed. Please don't combine it.
Considering how fast this site evolves, I would think leaving the group would mean they don't want to be Librarians. It's unfair to the site at large to have that much responsibility without learning the rules. Then again, many of them may have joined the Librarian group just to ask for a cover image to be added or page numbers to be updated.
That was the most useful group broadcast message I've ever gotten. I'd rather something like that over endless "please vote for the new book of the month" requests.
Most of the ones I've seen for erotica are listed at the end of the review. And, given people have particular tastes when it comes to things like that, I always thought they were appropriate.
Carolyn wrote: "You're correct that the book description should not have any sort of WARNING label"No warning labels in this particular instance, or books shouldn't have warning labels in general? I know there are erotica books where the publisher includes warnings for non-vanilla content.

Done. Here is the new profile. Let me know if you have information you want added to the new author profile.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/311...
There are three foreign language editions under Herman Hesse which I believe belong under Hermann Hesse. One is listed as Romanian. Not sure what language the other two are.
I want a particular cover to display, so it wouldn't be much value added to have the cover there, but hidden behind the scenes. So unless this move helps you get closer to the "multiple covers, choose your favorite to display" option, I'm not sure that it's of much value. How will multiple databases work? Are we pulling from one or the other, or pulling from both and merging info? If it's merging, that may be a nightmare.
Richard^Castle - associated with the tv show "Castle"; mysteryRichard^^Castle - book on land options
LOL. I actually picked that book up in high school becasue it shared my name. Ended up liking it quite a bit.
With "Hitchhiker's" all four versions are out there - book, audio book (single narrator), radio play (multiple actors), and radio play scripts. None are currently considered "not a book".
It looks like a radio play version of the book. I thought we were keeping those. The radio play version of Douglas Adams' "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" is listed as a book.As for "Rebecca", I'd list Laurence Oliver and Vivien Leigh as narrators, Daphne du Maurier as the author, and move the rest of that to the bottom of the description.
