I just finished. I like it but I still prefer A Place Beyond Courage where we are much engaged into the plot. There are still a few gaps on WM story as pointed out by the author which made me wonder "what if happened..."
definitively, Eleanor is the best character on HF books. Robin, I look forward to your comments on GK.

I wonder about the sequel of APBC, any guess??
since I have already read APBC before, I started to fell confuse about William at GK but now things are more clear, thanks!!
I just started last night but I am still trying to remember the plot of A Place Beyond Courage even knowing that the books are not directly connected. Or am I wrong?? I need Misfit´s help on this matter but probably she is still sleeping....

Susan, have you ever tried to read some French authors who wrote about Catherine? I recently read La Saga des Médicis, Tome 1 : Contessina by Sarah Frydman and La Cour des Dames, Tome 1 : La Régente Noire by Franck Ferrand.
Chrissie, I also was disappointed with Suite Francaise and I do agree with you, the trilogy of Blue Bicycle reflects with more accuracy the Nazi´s occupation in France or at least Deforges characters are more realistic.

Mandy, concerning The Two Dianas, take a look at our comments at Dumas rere group.
Misfit wrote: "I'm going to try to get my hands on Dymoke via PBS. Hard to believe as they usually have everything no matter how old, but they don't have much of her. "
I got The Cloisterman through BM. I may send to you, please let me know.

Other favourites of mine: - the legendary Robert Graves; Juliet Dymoke; Philip Lindsay."
I totally agree with you!! I recently discovered Juliet Dymoke by suggestion of Susan.

well Robin, I have the same problem but Misfit proposed a good solution to this though problem: a book lottery!! enjoy...
Lee is right; PaperSwap only works in the US. At Bookmooch, when you have already added some books in your Wishlist, you click on "Show related editions"; the system will show all available books in other editions. I think you should make your login by choosing the English language in order to get more books in English. I never had any trouble with different languages. At BM is nice to get out-of-print books since for more recent books, there is a huge queue.
