21857 Kahlan, true! And the main character is likeable. There are some parts that are seriously funny too.

21857 :P I hate April Fools.

Finished up The Replacement. It is really awesome.

Currently reading Hex Hall and liking it a lot, even though it is definately younger than most YA I read. Sort of Meg Cabotish.

21857 Carnivale is awesome!!!

A local girl did the stunt riding for this film, so there is much hype about it right now.

I adored this book and it is well-worth the time. May revisit it for this month.

21857 Thanks all!

It would seem that way, Crusader! At least I cannot blame this one on my own stupidity!

21857 Ah I had no expectations going into it. It is very different than what I was expecting too. It could be more fleshed out but still loving it!

21857 Reading The Replacement. Worth the time!
Mar 31, 2011 09:58AM

21857 I was in Cape Town last weekend and got The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff, which is awesome so far. Also got LA Weatherly's Angel, 13 Till Life, Hex Hall and Entangled by Cat Clarke. The EBs down there blow my fragile little mind.

I have been diagnosed with Glandular Fever so have the next week off to read read read and SLEEEEEP!

21857 Taking a pic at this stage is impossible! I own about 400 odd books and they are nomadic... Bouncing between Prince Albert and Wilderness! Also Charl has some in Cape Town. Once my shelf here is sorted I will take a pic... Books and the Karoo go together well!
Mar 24, 2011 06:59PM

21857 Kat, I was going to suggest that but I couldn't remember if all three were in one book.

Thanks for the link, Lu!

21857 Does anyone know a book with a main character called Dorothy but does not involve a yellow brick road and red shoes?
Mar 23, 2011 11:39AM

21857 That should have been a challenge by itself! Read Mein Kampf cover to cover. Hehe.
Mar 23, 2011 11:04AM

21857 Lu, what about Mein Kampf for the banned book? ;) kidding, kidding. Props to anyone who has finished that!
Mar 19, 2011 01:42AM

21857 Oh and can a book count for more than one challenge, Lu? Say yes! Say yes!
