We shouldn't have to learn the lesson the hard way. But I guess that most people have forgotten the part where we learn our history and the history of the world so that things like the Holocaust don't happen again. Someone from my school said she watched this show where random people were asked what the Holocaust was. Many had no idea-they thought it was a song from some band. That was really scary. My history teacher freaked out when the girl told him about it.
I almost freaked out too. Everyone in my class was in shock. Wake up, anyone out there whose knowledge does not extend beyond what day of the week it is.(sorry, whenever I am slightly angry or frustrated, I get sarcastic)
I mean, yeah, this is supposed to be about First Amendment Rights...but not knowing what the Holocaust was?
