This movie is the best I've ever seen. I have seen classics and this one is a true classic in every sense of the word. It keeps you guessing, and when you think that the Joker has done something, its something else. Heath is so memorable, I am still shocked he is gone. I will see the film again this week. I am not even a huge Batman fan. I think this film was more than a comic film but something of a thriller/crime saga. It was unexpected, it was intense, it was action, it was packed with GREAT performances from everyone. To write a story as Nolan did here is just remarkable, he is the person who put this story on film. He also made the reboot of Batman and has turned around the way we see comic films I think. Chicago looked beautiful. Even when Ledger is not on screen, the film is memorable. GO SEE IT AGAIN, AND AGAIN!!!!
I had another moment that wasn't funny but intense. Saving Private Ryan was the movie. Me and my friend has gone to see the last showing on Friday night. The film was playing in a more of a urban area, with more teens, and dates. I guess the buzz about the violance got in a good mix of kids (who were quiet all the way through). The movie had extreme violance and once it ended, the crowd just sat there, no one got up, the lights came up slow and you can see people in tears! I was crying, there were young people in tears. Everyone got up after the credits. I never saw that again.
Ok here is a diverse topic. Name your craziest/funny momments while watching a movie in the theater. We all have the loud mouths, and late arriving folks but something more than that. I remember once when I was at a movie a fight almost broke out, or one time some kids smoking pot up in front.
Lets some storues!
Has anyone, or did anyone care to see Rambo? I was a huge fan as a boy when the 3 old ones came out in the 80's. I loved the stories no matter how bad they were. I think it was the time for a Rambo in the 80's. Anyway, this last movie was a disgrace. It was like watching Saving Private Ryan/Bravehart violance. Not needed! It was a total disgusting Rambo film. I don't mind violance but there is a way of shooting it (if that is the nature of the film) to get a point accross. The violance was not like that before in the prior films and they were fine. The story was very sloppy; it was just not written with plenty of thought. He acted like a big monster at some points. I loved the last Rocky film, in fact I was cheering like and Stallon wrote that as did he here. This one was just not needed and he is writting a 5th Rambo now. Does anyone agree with me?
Die Hard: John McClane: [fighting Karl] You motherfucker, I'm gonna kill you! I'm gonna fuckin' cook you, and I'm gonna fucking eat you!
Casino; Nicky Santoro: Don't fuck with me, Al! Don't make a fuck out of me! You want to embarrass me and make a fool out of me? You didn't gamble? Tell me you gambled the fuckin' money, I'll give you the fuckin' money to put the fuckin' heat on! Did you gamble? Huh?
There are soooo fraakin many from Raging Bull, but i put this one in,Jake La Motta: "Bring it over. Bring it over! It's like a piece of charcoal! Bring it over here!"
Ok, so I am a big quote person (my gf hates it) and I have many favorites.
Forrest Gump: "She's my friend, my only friend" of course there are many from that movie!
Empire Stikes Back; Vadar: "I am altering the deal. Pray I alter it any further"
White Heat; James Cagney: "Here I am ma, top of the world!"
Carlito's Way: Who the fuck are you? I should remember you? What, you think you like me? You ain't like me motherfucker, you a punk. I've been with made people, connected people. Who've you been with? Chain snatching, jive-ass, maricon motherfuckers. Why don't you get out of here and go snatch a purse.
No Country for Old Men: Chighur: You need to call, and I can't call for you.
Predator: You are one ugly motherfucker
Gone with the Wind; Rhett Butler: My darling, you're such a child. You think that by saying, "I'm sorry," all the past can be corrected. Here, take my handkerchief. Never, at any crisis of your life, have I known you to have a handkerchief.
ok lets some more!
I saw this movie when I was 18 with my friend and we were dying with laughter. Thank you Coen brothers for a favorite indeed. John Goodman was great Bridges. I wanted to throw a bowling ball in someones stomach!
I AGREE! THIS MOVIE DOES SUCK THE BIG ONE! I am a fool for love stories but this movie got me mad. It was a cheesefest beyond. I laughed at it, like really laughed, it was that silly. I yelled at the end, "die already you moron!" I think if you are gonna make a love story of a couple I would be Noah and Allie from The Notebook!

The original Phantasm had a few! The scene were the boy bumps into the Tall Man for the first time and he takes off running after him.Saspira, this movie was scary all the way but the music is chilling also!
the first two Friday The 13th movies were very effective also.
Vacancy had a few scenes (chaos), like the banging on the door or the men getting into the room unnoticed.
The hammer scene in Texas Chainsaw, original of course, was not scary but somehow it will also scare me!
Terminator 2 has a few funnies. The one scene i like wes Arnold breaks out Sarah from the hospital. They run into the T1000 (Robert Patrick) When they run onto the elevator and the T1000 run to it, Arnold shoots his shotgun into his face. Before the shot is fired, the camera shows his head split from behind. That is always funny. All the visible strings in the opening of Face Off are great too
The film was great I thought! His intro was not over the top. The action scenes were great, it was done with stunt men! Great because they kept the 80's feel to it. The film felt like a 80's directed picture. It opened like all of them I felt, the credits and all.
As the movie rolls along, the first escape was great, we see Ford climb really fast and swing along. He looked great and moved like he was 45 again! In fact, he kept the gray to not shy away from his age, futhermore, they pole fun at his age. He fought like he did in the first one.
The middle was a bit slow for awhile but not long at all. The scenes pick up once Shia comes into play and some humor also. He was solid for sure! Karen Allen never lost a step either. Cate isn't the best russian but the hell.
The story was ok, I think everyone needs to pay attention cuz missing something will throw you off, so be quiet and listen! Its not a story that is suppose to make you feel like, "wow that is real". This is still an Indiana Jones film, its not gonna be a story that is real! So don't be a critic, be a fan again! That is all I say. Critics are f-ing this movie over.
The running time could be 20 min shorter and the that is all I can complain about and that is not enough for me. If you don't like the films but watched them and feel like you should see this, don't go and be made. Watch the DVD. I think this film is better than Last Crusade, tied with Temple or better but can't beat Raiders. No one would say it is, not even Lucas.
Have fun going in, cheer the the stunts and laugh at the super loud punching, they are loud! I loved it, go see and have a good time!
