2117 There actually is a thread on this film but it sucks to have to find it.

2117 What is it with famous movie stars staring in musicals? And whenever they do them seem to get an Oscar nomination.

2117 For those interested, this weekend the movie was re-released in IMAX only. Not sure how long it will be out.

2117 I love Daniel Craig as Bond. I was really unsure about him but I thought he did a really good job. I am looking forward to this movie!
2117 I love Entertainment Earth and hadn't seen that Babie yet! Thanks!
2117 CBS Sunday Morning did a nice piece on Hitchcock today:

2117 I tried to do that last time with the voting on the polls but then it just took off into something else. Maybe the mod could add a rules folder to just let people know how it works?

2117 So is it just one movie for the month? This month we had many movies and I was a little confused.

2117 I didn't see a thread started on this yet so I thought I would start one. Just rented this movie and I thought it was funny. I thought that Jason Segel did a good job (plus some actual man nudity).

2117 OK one of my favorite classics is the Canterville Ghost, 1944 version. Though I also liked the 1986 version also. The 1944 is a must see if you have not seen it.

I just looked this up and it seems neither edition has been released on DVD. :( Very sad.
Cloverfield (4 new)

2117 I liked this movie. It was a cheesy horror flick, but that's why it was fun. I don't care to see it again, once is enough so I am not going to re-watch it for October. But I liked some of the scenes like in the tunnels. It was like Blair Witch.. but I guess that's because Blair Witch was the first mainstream movie like this as far as I know so of course I compare Cloverfield to it.

I wish I would've seen it in the theater it probably would've made for a fun movie experience!

2117 I think this is a great film. It shows a little boy who just wants to dance in the midst of a miner's strike that his family must deal with. I think it has a lot of great humor as well. I love the ballet teacher she brought a lot of character to the film with her little remarks. Though I thought it was sad that she doesn't show up in the end.

2117 Personally I did enjoy this film.... but I also really enjoyed the soundtrack. I am not really one to buy soundtracks from movies, but this one has such a good mix of songs. I pop it in the CD player every now and then (this was way before ITUNES).
