I am looking forward to seeing Heath Ledger's performance in this one. The fact that an old school actor such as Micheal Caine would say that this movie would've taken him over the top makes the build up even more exciting than it already is!
You know what tom? I'd rather call somebody who doesn't know a thing about the true auras of movie genres a wuss, rather than openly wish death upon a true american hero because you don't like his supposed overdramatization of his dark side, but you seem to know it all. As for you Angie, maybe you are right. I shouldn't be calling people wusses. For that Tom, I apologize. But that doesn't change the fact that if you were a true superhero fan, you wouldn't wish death upon that hero. I've said all I need to say about this subject. I would look forward to this weekends opening, but by the time I try and get tickets for this weekends showings, they'll probably be sold out. I really wanted to see it in Imax, but They are all sold out. Boo Hoo:(
I agree with the consencus(hope I spelled that right.) Jumper was a pretty boring movie. It was not something I haven't seen before. Definitely not a keeper in the DVD collection.
Excuse me for bring a retard, but what do you mean by thread? Are they already planning a sequel or something?
I loved the first Batman movie with Micheal Keaton, Kim Basinger and Jack Nicholson. Batman Returns was the beginning of the clownery(I don't care if it's a word or not) of the Batman series. I don't even want to talk about the rest of them before Batman Begins. And oh yeah, Tom, please don't take this to offense, but I believe you're just a hater of dark movies, which brings me to this point. Everyone knew that the Batman Begins movie was going to go completely dark and those who were not with it fell off, and those who were said, "Yeah, I'm still down with the Batman regardless in what direction his character goes!" I say if you're a true movie fan, you pick what movie genres you like and keep it simple. And by the way, I hope Batman comes through the screen of the movie theatre you're in and swoops you off to a Gotham jail where you'll spend the rest of you're days being The Joker's little wuss!
Dude. You just now got around to watching these movies? Where have you been in the past decade or two? Although, I do agree with the fact that The breakfast club is still worthy of a few chuckles here and there. "I got you for two weeks!" lol.
