I think one's favorite film about love will probably be fairly personal and unique...just like the sensation.
I agree...I've noticed how other machines have replaced the tv in my life...blackberry, computers, podcasts
So far it is going fine with me. Not that the outside world doesn't have its stresses, traffic, and other distractions but I've enjoyed the peace of no tv. :)
I think two of my alltime favorites are Albert Brooks' Modern Romance and Woody Allen's Play it again Sam. Both wonderful films about romance.
I also loved the Satie piano pieces, especially Gymnosie 1 (sp.?) during the Man on Wire film that I ordered the piano sheet music. Fantastic, wonderful piano solos!
What are your top film scores? Off the top of my head anything by bernard hermann..taxi driver comes to mind. The composer who scored the spaghetti westerns.
Just to see what a week without tv would be like...no set rules...if you want to watch a movie, go ahead. I remember during the summer when our family spent time in several national parks how nice it was without a tv...I want to go a week without tv and see what it would be like.
Don't forget; we're going to try to go a week without tv starting Monday, Feb. 2nd (the day after the super bowl). No rules..you can dvr what you missed, etc. Try to journal how your week is going either here or at the group daily diary. Looking forward to it. :)

I agree...I missed it...caught it on the encore mystery movie channel. I wish they had made more in the series. Great characters.
It really is...the only things missing is what he has been doing since the event...really a well made documentary; I enjoyed the added features as well.
