I did enjoy this film. I haven't seen the j. horror version and I will put it on my list. The 2nd one was stupid and it never should have been made. I'm so glad that they stopped at 2.
I still watch it every now and then. The soundtrack is amazing also. Some of the songs are on my MP3 player: Dangerous Type and the song by Our Lady Peace.
Here are a few that make me cry:
The Mask (with Cher)- When she trys to wake him up for school
The Green Mile- When they electricute Jon
The Family Stone- When the family recieves their gift
Crash- The car crash/ when he is shooting and the girl get in the way
A Walk to Remember - When they get married
Stepmom - When they are discussing the future wedding
Not sure if this is right.....
There's a mirror right there. Take a look, you're BEAUTIFUL.
We are moving to college now:
Worrying is like a _________ chair, it gives you something to do, but it doesn't get you __________..........write that down.
Van Wilder
Angie - that is funny that I saw this post because Friday we went to rent some movies. I walked past Lost Boys 2 and just about grabbed it when a pre-teen swooped in and it was gone.
I actually saw the trailer for LB 2 and it didn't look horrible.
I didn't know he had a brother that acted. Well keep it in the family I guess....lol
It was a good family film. Not my favorite but some very funny parts.
I remember when I was a child, I had an Alvin record that had My Sherona. I can't remember the name of the LP. Anyone else know?
Sally, I think that we are the only ones that thinks this is fun....lol
It's one thing to want someone out of your life, but it's another thing to serve them a wake-up cup full of LIQUID DRAINER.
Let's stay in school:
It is one thing to get laced at _______, but it is quite another to be _____ all day!
Clueless
let's see how long we got back and forth.....
Here are my crying movies:
Mask (Cher)
A Walk to Remember
Green Mile
Lion King (I know, I can't help it)
I am Legend (that scene in video store)
Firestarter (when her dad gets hurt)
Crash
Braveheart
Here on Earth
Thats all I can think of at the moment.
I don't mind a sequel on movies, but I just heard that they planning on making Saw V.
In today's industry, they find a formula/ idea that makes them a huge profit. Then they continue to "beat it" into the ground and kill it.
The first 3 were ok but they stretched it on 4.......I don't want it to come out unless it's a whole new concept.
This is Happy Hairy Hard On telling you to eat your cereal with a fork, and do your homework, in the DARK.
Staying with the high school theme:
I Kill Liz. I killed The ______ dream. Deal with it.
Jawbreakers 1999
I used to watch Alex Haley's Queen over and over. I need to find that on DVD......
I also enjoyed:
The Stand
Rose Red
Cesar - I am happy to disagree. :)
I think that what draws me to Joker is his randomness. There is no reason to his madness. I like that in a character. That is what works for "me". Thanks for insight though.
We don't have cable so I missed the countdown. Can anyone put it on here for me cause I'm curious to see the "top" movies.
My husband and I went to see it last weekend and I loved ALL the actors yes, but I couldn't believe that was Heath. It didn't sound like him, look like him at all. I couldn't take my eyes off him. I coudln't into "Harvey Dent". I wasn't inspressed. The action scenes were good but I started to get antsy towards the end. I felt they tried to pack too much in.
The joker has always been one of my favorite villians. Even when Jack played the part. I also liked The Riddler and Mr. Freeze.
