2117 Yesterday, I watched “Body of Lies”.

Several times I felt I wanted to stop watching this movie…not sure why I continued tell the end. Frankly, it made me sick.

This movie represents snap shots of the ugly time we live. You hear expressions and sentences pulled out from contradicting views and believes. And you find yourself watching pits and pieces of stories you don’t really know how they were joined together…yes more like fraction tales!

And I’m not saying that the movie is a failure…on the contrary it’s very well constructed (four stars)..... It just hits in so many directions one could hardly understand the message behind it.

Is it just an album of the chaos of our time?

2117 The Crown Prince (2006)

Starring: Max Von Thun, Vittoria Puccini and Omar Sharif

A story of ambitions, lost love and despair.

May require parents' guidance for sexual scenes.

(My rating ****)

Wall E (2008)

At first I thought I was watching the animated version of "I am Legend" but then the movie took a different turn. It calls for paying more attention to the mother earth. It was ironic to see that the machines are the ones leading such campaign!

It's what I like to call a family movie
(my rating ****)

Hancock (2008)

I did not like seeing Will Smith as a drunk hero who caused so much destructions. His wanton to help people and his lack of manners were ironic!
