2051 44. Jemima J, Jane Green

It was okay. Not my favorite chick lit book but not my least favorite either.

2051 43. Punching In, Alex Frankel.

Interesting insight into people who work on the front lines of retail and service jobs.
Dec 04, 2008 06:57AM

2051 42. Exposed - Memoirs of a Wedding Photographer, Claire Lewis.

I'm hoping I can make it to 50...we'll see.

2051 41. Cohn-Head, Linda Cohn

The memoirs of a prominent female anchor on ESPN. It was quite interesting and a very quick read.

2051 40. Good Luck, Whitney Gaskell

Chick lit, and kind of predictable, but cute nonetheless.

2051 39. Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer, Warren St. John

An interesting view into Alabama football fans and their love for the team.
Aug 10, 2008 07:17PM

2051 38. Waiter Rant

Very good - I could barely put it down!

2051 37. Feeding the Monster, Seth Mnookin
Jul 24, 2008 07:21AM

2051 36. Bringing Home the Birkin, Michael Tonnello

Entertaining and quick.

2051 I too am in the camp of never wanting to read James Frey's "memoir," but I picked up his new book Bright Shiny Morning and really enjoyed it. (Amusingly, there is a big disclaimer at the beginning saying that everything in the book is a work of fiction.)

I don't think I'll ever read the Lord of the Rings trilogy or anything in that genre. Fantasy's just not appealing to me. (Sydney, you're not the only one!)

2051 35. Firefight: Inside the Battle to Save the Pentagon on 9/11 by Patrick Creed and Rick Newman

A quick read, and very interesting, but the subject matter's pretty grim. For some reason, disaster management fascinates me.

2051 34. Bright Shiny Morning, James Frey

It took a little while to get used to the strange syntax but I really enjoyed this book.
Jun 24, 2008 06:45PM

2051 33. Under the Banner of Heaven, Jon Krakauer
Jun 17, 2008 05:57AM

2051 32. Mommy Tracked, Whitney Gaskell.
Jun 10, 2008 06:24AM

2051 31. Deep Drive, Mike Lowell with Rob Bradford

Mike Lowell is wonderful, so I really enjoyed this book.

2051 30. Are You There, Vodka, It's Me, Chelsea by Chelsea Handler.

Not for the easily offended, but hilarious. She has so many strange and wacky adventures. I hope she writes another book!

I'm currently working on Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk. It's my first one by him, and I'm kind of ambivalent on it.

2051 I had no idea Marc Acito had come out with a new book, so when I saw it at the store, I just had to get it! Is it as good as How I Paid for College?
May 15, 2008 07:14AM

2051 29. The Bright Side of Disaster, Katherine Center
May 12, 2008 08:33AM

2051 27. Girls in Pants, Ann Brashares
28. Forever in Blue, Ann Brashares

Finished off the series.

2051 Summer Sisters is one of my all-time favorite books. I read it at least once a year. It's no amazing story but I enjoy it every time, even though I know what's going to happen.
