2051 Jessica- have you started reading the George RR Martin book yet? If not, you should check it out at the library! I was so happy when you posted the note about being inspired. I love giving that book to people as a gift, its absolutely amazing!! I'm jealous, by the way of your long book list! I have no idea how to fit 16 more books in by the new year :-(. I think the problem is I tend to read REALLY LONG books since they keep me entertained longer!

Oh my goodness, where did my year go??? How am I going to fit 16 more books in?!?! I think my problem is that all my books are so long...light right now i'm reading the second installment of clan of the cave bear, and that's another 500 page book or so...but i LOVE those books! *sigh*

2051 31.The Lost Symbol (Robert Langdon, #3)The Lost Symbol

Grade: C. maybe C+ because parts of the book were engaging, i just really found that this book, on the whole was pretty lame and i was disappointed. quite a let down after all that hype. maybe dan brown needs to retire robert langdon and go back to writing books like deception point or digital fortress. its just the same story being recycled over and over....do yourself a favor and wait for the mass market version. or, if you absolutely cannot wait and the library waiting list is several months long, keep the book in mint condition (i always remove the book cover while i'm reading to keep it looking new) and keep your receipt so you can return it within 2 weeks to get your $ back. it sucks. trust me on this one!

2051 Jessica, did you start reading the George RR Martin books yet? If so, how do you like it so far, or have you finished the series?

2051 28.From Dead to Worse (Sookie Stackhouse, #8)From Dead to Worse

slowly getting to the finish line!!! By the way, I LOVE this series...although its easily categorized as "female reading" I think its fun for everyone! I really recommend it, especially if you need a break from heavy literature and need some light reading. I haven't read the short stories yet, but I plan to. I'm only sad I'm almost done with the last book in the series, but I guess I'll reread the DaVinci Code since the new Dan Brown book is coming out next Tuesday...

2051 21.Storm Front (The Dresden Files, #1) Storm Front

Read this book after having it recommended by another coworker at the bookstore a few months ago. I tossed it into my "to read" pile and just never got around to it. I'm glad I did though! It isn't really marvelously well written, but its quite entertaining and a fast read. Recommend it for someone looking for a fun, fast read on a lazy day off or trip to the beach!

2051 Oddly enough, even though i finished reading the series in april, i find myself fighting an urge to go back and reread George RR Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" again...
