This was another book club book, and I read the whole thing in one day. It was a really easy read, and I really got sucked into the story so it was even easier to read. I liked it, although I was slightly dissapointed with the way it ended. I would have liked to have known more. It was a very big premise and story line for such a short book, and I think the whole book could have been expanded on quite a bit, but none the less I enjoyed reading it.

This was another book club book and I loved it! I thought it was entertaining, eerie, and I did not want to put it down until the end! A great read and it made for great discussion and afterthought! I suggest everyone read this book.

I liked this book a lot. I dare say I even liked it better than the first one. I thought this one had more depth in the plot and had more interesting story lines. I am really glad I decided to read the rest of the series, I am really enjoying it!

This was a re-read for me, but it has been about 13 years since I last read it. I wanted to read it again cause I haven't read the rest of the series. I have had all the other books for years and finally decided to read them all. I loved this book when I was little, and I really enjoyed it as an adult too. I am excited to see what the rest of the books bring!

2051 8. Inkheart Inkheart (Inkheart, Book 1) By Cornelia Funke

I really enjoyed this book. It was really fun and a light easy read. I really enjoyed the concept of the whole book inside a book thing. I liked all the characters and thought the story line was really fun. I will definatly read the rest of the trilogy!
2051 Wow, I am really far behind! I am only on #8, but I am just getting back into my love for reading. Last year I only read 9, so I have almost beat that already. I wont make it to fifty, but I am hoping I can make it to 20!

1. Wolves of the Calla (Dark Tower 5) 2. Song of Susannah (The Dark Tower, Book 6) 3. The Dark Tower (Dark Tower 7) 4. Lord Foul's Bane (The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever, Book 1)
5. Blood Brothers (Sign of Seven trilogy #1) 6. The Hollow (Sign of Seven trilogy #2) 7. The Pagan Stone (Sign of Seven trilogy #3)
8. Inkheart (Inkheart, Book 1)

2051 Yeah, I agree! At first I was really confused and didnt know how I felt about the ending. The more I thought about it, the more I realized it was the best possible ending for the book. It made me think about it for a good couple weeks after I finished, so I figure any book/series that can do that must be good! I really enjoyed all of them, and agree that the first 4 were better.

2051 7. The Pagan Stone The Pagan Stone (Sign of Seven trilogy #3) By Nora Roberts

Finished 6/9/09

I like this book. It was probably my least favorite of the trilogy, but it was still good. The ending was pretty anti climactic and was pretty predictable. The characters were likable and the story line interesting. I didn't get as involved in this one as the other two, and it took me longer cause I didn't feel the urge to devour it. But all in all, a pretty good read.

2051 I completely agree that there are WAY too many similarities between this trilogy and the circle trilogy. 3 girls 3 guys and they all pair off...yeah that is a little ridiculous. I also hate Robert's cheesy one liner diolauge between the characters, it is so annoying. Despite these things I find them entertaining and super fast easy reads. I do, however, see why it could be not likeable to others, and I agree with many of your points! Thanks for your input!

2051 What did you think about Blood Brothers? I just recently finished it this week and really enjoyed it. I am reading the second one The Hollow right now. Do plan on finishing out the trilogy?
May 12, 2009 12:51PM

2051 Oh, I just recently finished the last three in the Dark Tower Series also!! What did you think? I thought the whole series was fantastic, and was really sad and overwhelmed when it was all over with. I would love to hear your opinion on it.

I actually enjoyed this one more than the first one. I enjoyed the perspective of the different characters in this one, and I felt like the story line and plot became a lot more interesting. I am excited to get through the 3rd one and see how it all wraps up.

2051 5. Blood Brothers Blood Brothers (Sign of Seven trilogy #1) By Nora Roberts

Finished on 5/10/09

I really really enjoyed this book. It is a really easy fun fast read and I loved the premise of the story and the characters. Nora Roberts can be really cheesy sometimes with diolauge and "one liners", but the book is so enjoyable that it can be overlooked. I would definately recomend it.

This book was pretty good. It took me awhile to get through, so parts of it were really slow. It had a very interesting premise, and I liked the world and all the characters created, but there was just too much descriptive writing about the scenerey that just went on and on. Overall it was okay, I will continue to read the rest of the trilogy....after I take a break with something else first.

2051 I also agree with Randall Flagg, although my favorite name for him is The Man in Black.

2051 This is so funny cause I just sobbed like a baby last night reading. I am half way through with the 7th book in the Dark Tower Series and I was crying so hard.....I am in trouble if the rest of the book is like this.
I also cried in the 5th, 6th, and 7th books of the Harry Potter series! I guess I am just a big baby!
I also cried in To Kill A Mockingbird and Les Mis too.

2051 I wanted to smack Bella throughout the whole series! Dont get me wrong, I loved the books, but she just whined so much! It drove me crazy!! She needed a good smack.
I would want to hug Roland from the Dark Tower Series. He is so awesome and seems so lonely!
