I have seen the trailer. It looks good, but you know Hollywood. I really hope it is comparable to the book.

How do you feel about this book now that everything's come out about their relationship? They are saying that the divorce papers said they have been seperated for two years.

My Opinion

I have been hearing that these books are comparable to Twilight, and since I was able to pick this book up for $.75 I figured I would see what the hype is about it. While I thought the storyline was interesting, I didn't think it was comparable to Twilight at all. Plus, I found the writing to be average, not what I would expect from an award-winning author. The characters are interesting, but as of yet, I still am unsure if I will continue with the series. An average YA book, nothing stood out to me.

Grade: C+

2051 You've been reading some goodies lately!!!

2051 Stargirl was interesting. I liked it, and I especially liked that it was YA written from a male's point of view. However, I tried to read the second one and couldn't get through it.

Like Ryan Secrest? LOLOLOL, that was the best typo I've seen in a long time!

2051 It's totally worth it. I actually liked it as much as the first one. You will see, it isn't as different as you think :D

2051 I know! Me too! And it was awful. I would read a paragraph, have to calm myself down, wipe away the tears, and then continue reading. I swear the last few chapters took me almost as long as the rest of the book!

2051 Have you read The Friday Night Knitting Club? I think you'd like it
Jun 29, 2009 04:49PM

2051 Hmmm, I dunno. I really couldn't stand the writing with the e-mails. So the second one actually has a story written, or is it mostly e-mails?

2051 I cried too. My stupid friends told me to read it, no warning at all!

I LOVED this book! Are you going to read the second one? Knit Two

2051 The movie is.... well, very different. To the point where I was like "they got the name of the book right" LOL. However, I still enjoyed it, it just wasn't the book.

The other books are good too, you will probably really enjoy them!
