2004 wow, i was just trying to talk about a book that helped me through my hysterectomy! i really don't need to justify myself to you, and i'm certainly not going to open up about my illness in a confrontative environment. you didn't indicate why you read the book, but if you were considering surgery i thought "sudden menopause" might be helpful.

additionally, the word meno-pause indicates the end of menses, which includes those of us who no longer have reproductive organs, as well as those whose menstration has stopped either temporarily or permanently due to illness or the treatment of illness.

2004 hi!

my name is billie and i just joined the group. i'm actually working on a short documentary about petroleum waste products in the personal care industry and am going to be interviewing stacy malkan on monday. that's how i found y'all.

i am wondering if the group is reading books together, and what are you reading, etc? i'm in a local book group that meets once a month and that seems to work out pretty well for me as far as time and commitment goes.

and if there isn't a book selected yet, might i suggest not just a pretty face since i'm already reading it?

take care.

love billie xoxoxo
