About selling on the Kindle platform...

Would you believe Amazon reserves the right to set the price--not allowing me to sell at $1 without raping my profits?

If I sell at $1, they can raise the price to $12 and make an $11 profit. I have no control. Actually, it's worse than that. I get 35% of MY price regardless of their price.

If I sell at $1 and they raise to $12, I get 35 cents and they get $11.65. If I sell for $10 and they raise to $12, I get $3.50--always 35% of what I say its worth.

I don't like this. At all.

Sorry. I can't sell it at $1. It would GALL me to see them make so much money off of my efforts when I'm just trying to cut consumers some slack.

I'm doing it today. $12.69 for the paperback book but I'm selling it on Kindle for $1.00.

Been getting "System Down" errors from Amazon so I'm waiting to press the submit button. All done except for that.
