1865 Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson is a really good one i would second that but the Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb has a really bad ending to the seiries so I would would like to stay away from that one

1865 I was born in the 80's in utah but mostly grew up in oregon (Estacada if you have ever heard of it) but i graduated in st. louis Mo from high school. shortly after graduation I moved to Florida, no particualer place I moved around a lot as I was serving a mission for my church (I'm lds) at the time but I mostly staid aroung the orlando area, lived on the coast for a bit (Rockledge if that means anything to u) but the furthest south I ever got was a town called wellington. after I got back from my mission i spent a little time in st. louis again before coming back home to oregon. I know live in oregon city mostly just working. I love stories that provide a new twist on creatures like vampires, elves etc. I'm always looking for stories that provide a new perspective on the clasic creatures and creat there own. If you can find any stories like that I'd like to hear about them thanks!
