Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card.
The Stand by Stephen King
Schindler's List by Thomas Kennedy
Not sure if these are considered Historical fiction, but tell me if they are.
Are there any Stephen King books in this genre?
How about the first star wars book. I think it's called Darth Bane: Path of Destruction.
So what is space opera? What are some examples?

Well I found LOTR's the comlete trilogy in one book at hastings for $10.50. Was that a good price? I didn't get it because I already got 3 books but mabey I'll get it next time.
