All of James' books would be great, like The Door in the Woods, and the 13th Reality series.

Try Brandon Mull's Fablehaven series, or the Pendragon series by D J MacHale. There's also the Inkheart series by Funke or The City of Ember series by DuPraul. All wonderful and fun series of books for a fourth grader and up!

I loved Austenland! I really enjoyed how they had to dress and act in character while staying there. How fun would that be!

I just finished the newest Fablehaven and I loved it. It's titled Fablehaven and the Secret of the Dragon Sanctuary. If you haven't read the Fablehaven books, I highly reccommend them to all ages.
