17237 Actually it's by an author I met through Goodreads. We swapped books. His name is W. David Tibbs. It's a beautiful and poetic novel that is kind of like a novel within a novel. It's a fictional journal of a man's journey through life and how each experience leaves a profound impression on him. It has a great emotional twist and is such a beautiful and moving story that I cried through half of it. If you want to borrow it, I'll lend it to you.

17237 I know. I hate when people suggest book because then I have to find them and read them. You should see my to-be-read pile by my bed:-)
And I have those books if you want to borrow them.

17237 I have two many to count, but four of my favorites are Melissa De La Cruz, Anna Godbersen, Dorothy Keddington, and Marcia Lynn McClure. Anna did the Luxe series, Melissa wrote the Blue Bloods series, Dorothy and Marcia write historical and contemporary romance novels that make you sigh:-)

17237 Okay, I just realized I misspelled adultery. Sorry. Ya see how much that book got to me:-)

17237 Okay, I just finished "The Mermaid Chair." Three words immediately come to mind. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID! Well, I guess that's just one word.
Adultry, language, blasphemy-I couldn't come up with a single thing I like about it, and I can normally find something I like about a story, even if it's just one thing.
So, unless someone wants my copy, it's going.

17237 I finished "The Alchemist" last night. It was a very enjoyable read, sort of an allegory of life.
