17216 I use this avatar for everything. I saw her on some ad website and thought hey that looks like me and I have an outfit like that. Since I am gun shy about putting my real photo out there I use this instead even on my facebook page. Once I thought about changing it and I just could not bear it.

17216 Like the week before...her cliff hangers just blow I am always like really did you really stop here. LOL
17216 We had a conversation similar to this one and initially I thought it was on occasion that I would pick up a book based on the cover but since that conversation I have noticed it is always the cover then the title. Like if Fabio is on the cover I just leave it. So if I find the cover interesting and the title is interesting then I read the back of the book and some random page. Also when the authors name is bigger than the title I assume it is a series book sometimes I look but a lot of times I don't since I have a huge TBR list.

As for this book when I first picked it up I thought it was going to be PNR but when I started reading then I realized it was urban fantasy. I liked the story so I was not upset it worked out in this case.

17216 1.Loved the cover - but even though I looked at every single time I was in Target it was not enough for me to buy it.

2. The quotes at the begining of the chapter were amazing - but I did not treat them as if they were part of the story I just read it does that make since?

3. I cannot answer the YA question as I have only read a few and Twilight seemed longer

4. I plan to read the next one

5. Over all I liked the book it kept me interested and since it was YA I am glad she was able to have a semi normal life

17216 I just popped over to her website to do a little excerpt reading and who knew she had written that many books. Oh and the excerpt is up if you want to read it.

17216 What is your favorite book in the series??

17216 I did read surviving demon island and I like it. I like the world she created and I thought the whole reality tv was funny. I do intend to read the next one.

Totally agree!! Does she have new dates on the demonica series?

17216 I am looking forward to JR Ward's Lover Avenged, Charlaine Harris Dead and Gone, and Jeaniene Frost Destined for an Early Grave. Oh and one more Karen Marie Moning I think it is called Dream Fever.

My TBR is ridiculous.

17216 Hi My name is Dawn and I am a bibliophile. I love to read and I love to buy books.

My favorite series are: Charlaine Harris , Patricia Briggs (mercy), Jeaniene Frost, Kim Harrison , Keri Arthur, Carrie Vaughn, JR Ward, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Karen Marie Moning and Larissa Ione.

My single favorite place to read is in my bed!

When I am not reading I like running and yoga and harass my son (he is a teenager) and he is always doing something which makes him my source of entertainment.

Something unique about me ...I am OCD about the strangest thing for example most of my house has to be spotless except my bedroom and my bathroom which never seems to be clean?? I mean my closet is total OCD light to dark, shirts are organized by color and style but yet I have mounds of shoes and paper and cds everywhere. Oh and my bookshelves have to be in this order that I like to think I have perfected. Quite sad really.

17216 I am reading the second one Possession but I have to be honest I started this book at the beginning of the month I got a third of the way through and I just could not continue and so it sits on the nightstand.

I think all the different POVs that just come and go is irritating. Plus I loved Cyrus in the last book and I wonder when he is going to stop feeling sorry for himself and move on.

regardless I am sure at some point I will finish it.
