Glad to see you're enjoying this series. It has become a favorite series of mine. The last one was so well done and haunting. I'm anxiously awaiting the next one. :)
I recently read The Cruelest Month by Louise Penny and thought it was excellent! Glad that you enjoyed Still Life.

Dawn,
I've just ordered the first three books in this series from PBS. Since you and Barry recommended them so highly, I can't wait to give them a try. :)
Sherie,
That's wonderful news! I wish for you continued good health. And as always, I love your reviews! :)
JF: The Same Sweet Girls Which I really enjoyed.
NR: Abandon Gritty, intense, and well worth the wait. I'm loving this book!

Nancy,
I know how much you like Pat Conroy, but have you ever read anything by his wife Cassandra King? I just finished reading The Same Sweet Girls which is about a group of women who have been friends since college and have been meeting twice a year since they graduated. It's along the same lines as Saving Graces and Angry Housewives. By the time I finished it I was in tears. I think you might like it. I'm going to check out some more of her books too.

Ann,
The Last Child is wonderful. I couldn't put it down. He's a terrific writer and I've loved every one of his books. This one didn't disappoint me either.

Gail,
I've been wondering about Jodi Compton. She hasn't written a Sarah Pribek book since 2005, I think it was and also D.W. Buffa. I haven't heard anything from him in a long time either. I enjoyed reading their series and I've missed them.

NR: Blue Heaven by CJ Box"
Lori,
How are you liking this one? I enjoyed it very much. Very different from his Joe Pickett series.
JF: Fortune's Rocks (excellent)
NR: The Center of Winter

When I read Beyond Reach I got so mad that I vowed never to read another Grant County book! I don't know where she's headed with that series. I did read
Fractured and it was excellent. I love the character of Will Trent.
I normally only read one book at a time but I'm reading two books now. A mystery
Midnight Come Again by Dana Stabenow and Fortune's Rocks A Novel by Anita Shreve with Claudia. We are really enjoying the Shreve book, too. And I always keep a book in my car for those times when I need something to read.
Big Cherry Holler by Adriana Trigiani. Add me to her group of fans. As someone else said about one of her books, "I laughed, I cried..."
Julie,
The only book I've read by Trigiani is Lucia, Lucia and it made my top 10 the year I read it. I have some more of hers in my TBR room I keep meaning to get to.
I'm Donna and I found the old m/t board back in 2001, I think it was. I'm an avid reader and love the hardboiled mystery/thrillers and lately I've been rotating them with general fiction. I love reading series books and my favorites are Crais, Coben, Connelly, GM Ford, Julia Spencer-Fleming, Lee Child and many others. I also love Blake Crouch and John Hart. And recently I joined the ranks of the Twi-hards. Yes, I admit I'm addicted!
